Jennifer Valentyne (Part Two) | Women In Media

This is part two of Sarah Burke's conversation with Jennifer Valentyne; is a widely recognized Canadian television personality who is best known for her long-term role on Breakfast Television in Toronto. Valentyne has been the host of The Bachelor & Bachelorette Canada After Show on W Network, and a morning show co-host on Q107.
Jennifer Valentyne’s career began in Toronto, shortly after graduating she began interning with MuchMusic. She started working behind the scenes doing computer graphics. She was the Prize Queen on Speakers Corner and produced a regular segment called Much Happenings. Eventually she moved over to mornings for 23 years. She’s involved with charitable organizations including the Children’s Breakfast Club, Campfire Circle and Daily Bread Food Bank.
Over the course of her career, Jennifer has interviewed celebrities such as Sir Richard Branson, Billy Crystal, Rachel McAdams, Channing Tatum, and Harrison Ford, but her passion has always been people in the community. In 2017, Jennifer Valentyne launched the Mother Daughter Date online community with her daughter, Georgia and they host The Mother Daughter Date podcast together.
