Canada Down: Liz Duff at The Hollywood Reporter's Women in Entertainment Event

The awards ceremony was a highlight, with notable honorees like Lilly Singh, who received the Equity in Entertainment Award. Lilly delivered a powerful speech on the real-world impact of representation in media while calling for genuine change in the industry.

Stacey Aglock McDonald and Alethia Arnekook Baril, the Inuk screenwriters behind North of North, were celebrated with the Breakthrough Award.

The event also honored actress Malin Akerman with the Impact Award and comedy legend Andrea Martin with the Icon Award.
