Caitlin shared her initial reluctance to have children, and the unexpected pregnancy of her son Sam. Sam was born at full term but passed away six hours later due to a fetal-maternal hemorrhage. Caitlin and her husband created a foundation to support Mount Sinai Hospital, raising $42,000. They now have a healthy son, Will, and continue to honour Sam's memory through various tributes and discussions with their family.
